I went on photo expeditions to New Orleans in 1992, 1994, and 1996. As with most of my expeditions, I didn’t print every negative, nor have I finished scanning prints at the new higher resolution that I am using for new galleries, so I will most likely be adding to this gallery. As with all my galleries, these are scans of black and white darkroom prints, usually on 8″ x 10″ glassy or pearl RC paper. For this gallery, all the prints are from 35mm negatives.
This gallery has a couple pictures taken inside Kaldi’s café which were included mostly for nostalgia since that unique and wonderful establishment, originally opened in 1990, closed in 2000. In the second picture, be sure to note the dog looking down from the upper floor. I have another closer picture of the dog that I never printed. It’s now on my list of pictures to print and I’ll add it when I get to it.
