These self portraits go back to 1976 to the present. They are largely just lighting and concept experiments or just fooling around. Few of them have ever been published or displayed anywhere. All images are Epson V600 scans of 8×10 RC darkroom prints developed in Dektol or D72 made from 35mm, medium format, or 4″x5″ negatives.
All of the pictures in the Self Portrait Gallery have embedded IPTC Title and Description metadata that is displayed overlaying the image when you click on the info button. I tried to include technical aspects of the image (film and developer info) in the description, while the title provides basic subject matter info, including the month and year the photo was taken. For pictures created with the F6, I was usually able to include shutter speed, aperture, and focal length info which is imprinted between frames on the film and also downloadable using the Promote Systems Meta35.
